Procrastination

So I've needed to update the blog, before I forget details, dates and faces....

but instead, I take a nap. Besides, I deserve it. I stayed up late Facebooking.

Also, I've needed to organize my desk/LIFE for months now...

but instead, I water my plants...again. Cuz maybe they're really thirsty today?

There are many things like this on my "to-do" list, but they never seem to get done. Who wants to kick me in the butt and help me!??

Yes, please. You are the winner.

Juicers

We've become juicers.

Like, the fresh fruit and veggie kind...through a juicer.

And holy moly, it's good stuff. The best part is that Bella loves it, and she doesn't even know she's drinking carrots, apples, pears, celery, spinach and KALE!
Hello micronutrients!

Old Friends

Ty and I had a fun date with our old Provo friends tonight. I think friends graduate from just "friends" to "old" once someone moves away. Those seem to be the rules I've made up, anyway.

We met them in Salt Lake for dinner at Outback, and it was a fun reunion.

Something about seeing old friends brings out the kid inside... Especially with them.

The drive home was amazing - lighting surrounded us from every angle. I tried my best to get a picture of it, but of course, nadda.

Every minute or so we'd go "OHHHHHHH... DiD you SEE ThAT?"
We acted like we'd never lived in Florida or something. Maybe we just miss it that much.

Mostly, it was fun to be in the car with Ty, reconnecting as friends. I've seemed to miss that a lot since he started working from home. We have some really good conversations! Now that doesn't mean we are great communicators all of the time, but we do engage in some pretty interesting topics! Surprisingly, politics and religion are at the top!

Love you, my lover buns.

Lavender Expo

My wonderful friend and neighbor Linda spends about a month out of the year making lavender gifts for her friends and family, and she welcomes any and all to make some for themselves. Including the neighborhood kids!

My sister, Isabelle, has been with me for a few extra days, and everyday she tells me her plans - "I'm going to Linda's to make more lavender crafts!"

Isabelle has found her twin - Lauren Bowen. She's my darling neighbor, and they have been attached at the hip during these past few days! They're so cute.

Bella is a woman who knows what she wants - the bumble bee costume trumps all! Even in summer heat! That's my girl.

Bella really wasn't much help with the lavender crafts, but it was fun to play in the shade with good company anyway. She mostly played with Linda's dog Teddy, who is adorable btw.
