Cute Face!!!

I visited the ultrasound tech today and got this darling shot of her face!! Ahh!! SO CUTE!!! She is in the right position (head down) and is definitely a girl :0)

So, I attended a breastfeeding class tonight (which Ty respectfully declined to come to), and among the many myths I got cleared up, it is true - Breast is Best! haha... I was actually surprised by the things I learned! Who knew there was more to it???

34 Weeks!

There's nothing left to clean and I'm ready for my 3rd nap for the day! I did a water aerobics class yesterday and I thought I got hit by a truck later on. This is getting a little ridiculous, I think. I'm definitely not used to feeling like the fat kid who can't play tag for more than 5 minutes!

The following video demonstrates the daily activity of our little creation...

The one who will bring us endless joy and laughter...
The one who will teach us true love and charity...
The one who makes me feel like the fat kid at the playground...

P.S. We are keeping our cat.
We found him a home and he was actually gone for a whole day! But the owner didn't realize her kid was allergic, so we got him back! I actually cried like a hormonal pregnant lady the day after we gave him away, so I'm glad to have the little squirt here where he belongs!

32 Weeks!

Oh Joy! Look at her grow!
I just saw my friend's newborn this week and I was so giddy! We were laughing at how she was worried her baby would come out with 3 eyes or 11 toes (as I'm sure many mothers can relate). To her relief, her baby has all the right numbers. We'll see about ours though right?

Back to work tomorrow! It's a little strange to imagine not working outside the home anymore, but I couldn't be happier to be a mom! I think I have a rude awakening coming for me though. This weekend we were with family for a wedding, and I found myself thinking with all the little nieces and nephews running awry, "Ew, his hands are filthy and he just stuck them in his mouth!", and "Don't come near me with that runny nose!", and of course I'm cringing at every crumb being dropped on the floor. Boy, have I got it comin'.

As for Ty... he is happily busy with all his latest projects and wishes there was more time in the day! He can't wait to be a daddy and indulge his little girl's every desire, but we'll see about that. :0)

Need a cat?

Any cat lovers out there?
It's time we say goodbye to our fine feline friend named Fish. We have realized over the past 2 years that it's easier to invite people over knowing they won't be cast into a sneezing frenzy. Not only that, but he sheds like a... well, like a cat that sheds a lot!

He's cheap entertainment and to be quite honest, a cheap form of therapy, too! If you know anyone looking for a fabulous little ball of fur, let me know!

Ready for Take Off!

Let's be real - bed rest isn't meant to be fun, but it was definitely a much needed break...that I did my best to enjoy!

For one, I've been able to spend lots of time with my Ty, which won't happen much once baby is here, right? And two, I've had lots of time to think! .. Something I should definitely do more of!

The doctor said I am clear to go back to work on Monday, as long as I take it easy ("no bungee jumping or step aerobics" were his words). I'm excited! It's a little weird to think that next month sometime I will be embarking on a new kind of work! A motherly kind! (assuming this baby comes early) I am so stinkin excited!!!!!

Whelp. That's all.
