First Tithing

We pay tithing. 

This means we pay 10% of our income.

So tonight we decided Bells should learn about tithing. 

We counted ten pennies, then showed her how one penny was one tenth. It was really hard to keep it simple, but I think she got the idea.

Now we will give it to our Bishop on Sunday so it can pay for new temples, church buildings/operating costs, missionary programs, church materials, etc. Read here for more details.
